Slow Cooker Stuffed Peppers Recipe

If you like stuffed peppers, but do not have time to prepare the traditional way, you should try this recipe. It only takes a small amount of preparation, and then the slow cooker does the rest of the work for you.

Easy Slow Cooker Stuffed Peppers

1 box of Spanish rice mix
1 pound ground beef or turkey
2 stalks celery, diced
1 medium onion, chopped
1 large egg, beaten
4 peppers buttons
1 large box of whole tomatoes, undrained,
1 canTomato soup concentrate
1 cup water
1 / 2 teaspoon black pepper

Combine turkey or beef, rice mix, celery, onion, egg, black pepper in a large bowl. Mix well. Divide into 8 equal parts. Fill each pepper half with a single piece of meat mixture.

Combine tomato soup, rice, spices and water in a mixing bowl. Pour the soup gently over the peppers. Cover.

Cook on low for 8 to 9 hours.
