If you are looking for rib slow cooker recipes, here are two to try. I think both want to do more than once. I've included a recipe for pork ribs and beef stew. Both recipes are quick to put together and easy to do. Both recipes for taste, with tender meat. I think you'll be glad you tried them.
Pork Ribs
Ingredients:
2-3 pounds pork ribs
1 can of tomato soup
1 small onion,chopped
1 clove garlic, finely chopped
3 teaspoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons mustard
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
Preparation:
Place ribs in slow cooker.
Mix soup, onion, garlic, brown sugar, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Salsa in saucepan and stir until the ribs are coated on all sides. Cover with lid.
Set slow cooker on LOW and cook for 5-7Hours. Ribs are done when the meat comes off easily and offers from the bone. Do not overcook or the meat off the bone in the sauce.
Tip: You can substitute thick country-style ribs for the ribs, but should allow up to an additional hour of cooking time.
Beef Ribs
Ingredients:
3-4 pounds beef ribs, defatted
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 clove garlic, finely chopped
1 / 2 teaspoon thyme
1 / 2 teaspoon dry mustard
1 / 2 teaspoon blackPepper
1 / 3 cup flour
2 x bag of French onion soup
2 cups water
Preparation:
In a medium bowl, combine the flour with water to a paste. Add the remaining water, brown sugar, garlic, thyme, mustard, pepper and dry soup mix. Mix well.
Top of the beef in slow cooker or crock pot. Stir until all sides of the ribs are coated with spice mixture. Cover with lid.
September slow cooker on low setting for 8-9 hours or HIGHSetting for 4 1 / 2 to 5 January / 2 hours. Ribs are done when tender and move easily from the bones.
Tip: Serve over cooked egg noodles or mashed potatoes. Leftover beef is great for making open faced roast beef sandwich use.
