Recipe Bread Pudding Slow Cooker

If you are looking for a sweet easy to prepare and serve a special meal, you have found. make bread pudding in a slow cooker could not be easier. Moreover, it is equally delicious as the traditional way of preparation. You can use any type of dried fruit in this recipe. mixed fruit, raisins, dried apricots and dates, all work well.

Slow Cooker Bread Pudding makes 6-8 servings

A 16 oz loaf of white bread day
1 1 / 2 cups milk
1 cupDried fruit, chopped
1 / 2 cup chopped pecans
1 large apple, peeled, cored and chopped
1 / 4 cup brown sugar, packed
1 / 4 cup butter or margarine, melted
1 egg, beaten
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 / 4 teaspoon cloves
1 / 4 teaspoon nutmeg
1 / 4 teaspoon ground ginger

Tear the bread slices into pieces about 1 to 2 cm in size. Place the bread in the bowl. Pour the milk over pieces of bread, as much of the surface of the breadPossibly. Let the bread soak for 20 to 30 minutes. (I like to let the bread soak while I chop the nuts.)

Mix the chopped nuts, walnuts and apple mixture into the bread in the oven slowly.

In a small bowl of brown sugar, butter, eggs and spices. Mix well. Pour the bread mixture and stir until mixed spice mixture all over the bread.

Cover on low for 3 to 4 hours. Blade of a knife inserted in center comes out cleanif bread pudding is done. If you're not ready, the cake is served immediately, it keeps its texture well when in a warm place for up to one hour.

Tip: You can substitute a fresh pears instead of apples for the subtle difference in taste.
