Filipino Recipes - Longsilog recipe (breakfast) - Food Pino

Silogs, popular name for sinangag (fried rice) and itlog (egg), are certainly places Pinoy favorite morning meal. Because of its popularity, you can also put as the national breakfast of the Philippines, if there is such a thing.

These early morning deals in various combinations with tapsilog (tapas), tocilog (with tocino) and longsilog (longanisa with sausage or Filipino) up on the list. There are many variations of how cornsilog silogs (with pickledBeef), chiksilog (with chicken), chosilog (with adobo), dangsilog (Danggit with fish or rabbit), bangsilog (Bangus or milkfish with), hotsilog (with sausage) and many others.

But for this recipe, we will prepare for a combination of the famous sausage or longanisa Pinoy, sinangag or spicy garlic fried rice and eggs. Yummy! My mouth water just thinking about it already.

Ingredients:

5 links of sausage longanisa
3 eggs
4 cups of rice left over fromnight
1 cup water to a boil longanisa
¼ teaspoon black pepper
2 cloves of garlic
Oil for frying
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon MSG
Cooking method:

Longanisa sausage to cook, place the longanisa in a saucepan with the water and under medium heat until it comes to a boil. Let the water evaporate completely until the oil begins to leak out of the sausage link. To cook evenly, roll the sausages and fry constantly for about 5Minutes.
For eggs, beat two eggs the way, can make an omelette. Add to cook to taste a pinch of salt, then heat in a frying pan. Then remove from pan and set aside. Getting a sunny side of eggs and Cook in the same pan. Remove when done and set aside.
For rice, garlic fried rice, in particular, breaking the large pieces and set aside. Oil in a frying pan heat the garlic and saute until the color and aroma floating in the air. Add rice and stirfor about 1 minute. Add salt and pepper for more flavor MSG. Cook for another 5 minutes, stirring to prevent the rice from scorching.
Place the fried rice, eggs longanisa and served in a dish and warm.
