Family Fun This project is a great way to get into the spirit of April Fool's Day and were able to enjoy a wonderful treat, too. There is so much fun to do, as it is eating.
This cute flowerpot cakes are fun for the whole family, rather than make a good alternative to regular sweet parties in spring. These sweets are very mobile, in order to "take and bake" toYour picnic, tail gating meetings, or Bar-B-question.
Are you ready to do some "dirty"?
Flower Pot Cakes
Ingredients:
Aluminum foil
6 6-oz capacity clay pots thoroughly washed and dried (must be glazed earthenware untreated!)
Cake:
1 pound package of Oreo cookies
1 (prepare pasta as indicated on the box), chocolate cake mix box
chocolate frosting
Flowers: 18-24 lollipop sticks with fixed filter,Colors
Small pack of gum drops in 1 / 8 cut - 1 / 4 "slices of petals
Simple icing (powdered sugar added to water to paste)
Arches, gummy worms or other decorations as desired
Directions: Line bottom of pans with aluminum foil.
Grease inside of pan.
Cake: Prepare pasta as indicated on cake mix box.
Pour into pans. Do not fill the pot. Bake cake mix according to box directions.
Process Oreo Cookiesin a blender to resemble dirt.
After cakes cool to wear a thin layer of chocolate on top of the cake.
Sprinkle cookie crumbs on top to make ice "dirt."
Flowers:
Make a ring of flowers from simple ice and cut around the flower petals fall application board lollipop.Turn rubber on lollipops and alternate on the 'faces' to send flowers with a simple glaze.
Place flowers in a vase.
Add arches, gummy worms or other decorations as desired.
AnotherOption is to make the use of sugar cookie dough cookie flowers, you can decorate the biscuits to fit your mood. Slide use a toothpick or small skewer before baking cookies in a cookie-pick to push the flowers into "dirt."
